When dangerous products or practices harm people on a wider scale, I work with clients to choose their best course of action. In a class action, a small number of people stand up and bring a lawsuit to protect the rights of other similarly harmed individuals. In a mass tort, groups of people band together and bring individual claims in a single, collective lawsuit. Both options present challenges and opportunities, which is why I work hard to develop the best strategy we can based on every case’s individual circumstances.

Consumers are entitled to be treated fairly and honestly. Too often, however, businesses use false advertising, bait and switch marketing, or or other unfair tactics to take advantage of consumers. While state and federal laws protect consumers from unfair and deceptive practices, many consumers do not know their rights. I therefore advise consumers harmed by unfair and deceptive business practices to help clients recover what they deserve.
